The Hoboken Family Alliance is now accepting nominations for our 13th annual Community Neighbor Awards to be granted in 2016 at our Cabin Fever Event at Brandt School (215 9th Street, Hoboken, NJ) , tentatively scheduled for February 21 , 2016.
Non-profit organizations may apply directly or be nominated by a member of the community. They must be not-for-profit and serve children or families in Hoboken and/or Hudson County. To be considered, the organization must designate what the money will be used for, and how much they are requesting. We request that the money be utilized to directly provide a service for families or children, and not for overhead/administrative costs. Award recipients will be asked to attend the Cabin Fever Festival on Feb. 21, 2016 (tentative), in Hoboken, to receive their award.
In your grant submission, please include:
- Brief description of the program and/or services
- Organization contact name, address and phone number
- Organization 501(c)3 non-profit tax id number
- Amount requested
- How many people will be affected by the receiving of the grant
- Why the program should receive an HFA Community Neighbor Award
The final deadline for submission is Friday, December 11, 2015.
