Tuesday, November 28th is GIVING TUESDAY.
A global day dedicated to giving is observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, encouraging the spirit of generosity during this special time of year.
Since its founding in 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that bring about real change in communities. This year, the Hoboken Family Alliance is a part of this honorable charity initiative.
The Hoboken Family Alliance (HFA), 100% volunteer driven non-profit which has been in existence for over 15 years in the Hoboken community, being one of the oldest non-profits in Hoboken. Hoboken Family Alliance is a dynamic organization that welcomes bringing the community together to encourage civic, social and educational opportunities for all families.
Every year, we have presented various community events, including Cabin Fever Winter Festival, "Mutzfest"- Mozzerella festival, Harvestfest Pumpkin Patch, Spring Fling Egg Hunt, and more. The Hoboken Family Alliance (HFA) provides School & Backpack Drives, Toy & Pajama drives for children in need within the Hudson County area. We also provide Community Neighbor Awards and scholarships for High School seniors going to college. Hoboken Family Alliance also assists the community by supply emergency funding to organizations, residents and families in need.
