If you have a 3- or 4-year old and are considering Hoboken’s Early Childhood Program – it’ s time to start thinking about the school year in September. The Hoboken Public Schools will host its final Open House on Thursday, Feb. 18 starting with a presentation at 8:45 AM at the Brand School gymnasium (215 9th Street). Visits to classrooms will follow from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at:
• Brandt School—215 9th Street
• Calabro School—524 Park Ave.
• Connors School—201 Monroe St.
• Rue School—301 Garden St.
• Early Childhood Center/St. Francis—310 Jefferson St.
• Wallace School—1100 Willow Ave.
Registration for ALL new students entering Pre-K (3- & 4-year-olds, Kindergarten and First Grade students will begin Feb. 22. Please pick up a registration packet – available now at any one of the Hoboken Public Schools. Please note if your child is in the 3- or4-year-old program you do not need to register again. Your child must be 3 on or before Sept. 30, 2010 to be eligible for the Pre-K program. You can register on the following dates:

Monday, Feb. 22nd 8:30 AM -11:30 AM & 1:00 PM -3:30 PM
If your child’s last name begins with G-N
Tuesday, Feb. 23 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM -3:30 PM
If your child’s last name begins with O-Z
Wednesday, Feb. 24 8:30 AM -11:30 AM & 1:00 PM -3:30 PM
Any Last Name: Thursday, Feb. 25 & Friday, Feb. 26 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM -3:30 PM
Evening Hours: Any last name Tuesday, Feb. 23 and Thursday Feb. 25 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM

- Completed Registration Packet
- Your photo ID
- Child’s immunization record
- Child’s birth certificate
- Two proofs of residency (copy of lease or deed AND copy of cable or PSEG bill)
