  • This event will include child-centered activities including a visit by the State Farm Good Neigh Bear, face painting, games, and a bouncy house.
  • For the parents, there will be opportunities to bid on silent auction items including a NY Jets signed football, children’s birthday packages, and a six course dinner for 8 at Dino and Harry’s.
  • This indoor event will also promote autism awareness and education about best practices in autism treatment. Tables, staffed by knowledgeable parents and professionals from the Association for Science in Autism and Autism New Jersey, will provide information and take-away materials for those interested.

Recent studies estimate that there are 673,000 children affected by autism in the United States (Current estimates suggest that 1 in 110 children have autism).  Each year, countless Hudson County families spend thousands of dollars on unproven treatments for their children with autism. ASAT’s mission is to disseminate accurate information about autism treatments so that all families are able to identify and choose effective, scientifically-validated interventions. HOPES CAP, Inc. is also committed to ensuring that parents access accurate information to help their children realize their full potential. Children with autism deserve nothing less!
