The Hoboken Family Alliance is now accepting nominations for our tenth annual Community Neighbor Awards to be granted in 2014 at our Cabin Fever Event, tentatively scheduled for February 9, 2014.
Non-profit organizations may apply directly or be nominated by a member of the community. They must be not-for-profit and serve children or families in Hoboken and/or Hudson County. To be considered, the organization must designate what the money will be used for, and how much they are requesting. We ask that the money be used to directly provide a service for families or children, and not for overhead/administrative costs.
Please send a brief description of the program and/or services, organization contact name and phone number, your organization's 501(c)3 non-profit tax id number, amount you are requesting and the reason why you feel the program should receive an HFA Community Neighbor Award. The deadline for submission is December 20, 2013.

Attn: Philanthropy. Award recipients will be chosen at the discretion of the HFA Board of Directors and only from those nominees that meet the grant criteria. Award recipients (or a representative of the organization) must be able to attend the Cabin Fever Festival on Feb. 9, 2014, in Hoboken, to receive their award.
