• Hoboken Baby Parade Looking for Sponsors / Save the Date!

Please mark on your calendars: May 17th for the 8th Annual Hoboken Baby Parade presented by the Hoboken Historical Museum. The Baby Parade invites young children and their families to promenade along the Hudson River in costumes, fancy dress and decorated strollers. It is a fun-filled (and free!!) community event, not to be missed!

Right now, we are looking for sponsors, specifically local businesses/organizations that cater to Hoboken children and families. Sponsorships start at just $100.00. There are so many benefits to becoming a sponsor, in addition to supporting the Hoboken Historical Museum. Proceeds from this event help to fund the children/ family programs offered at the museum throughout the year.

Please contact ocx2@nulloptonline.net if you are interested in becoming a sponsor

  • What’s Eating Our Kids?

The New York Times has a story about children who are becoming fearful of "bad food" because of parents who overemphasize the importance of eating healthy. I may fall into this category since we try to maintain a mostly organic and vegetarian diet. Although my seven year old daughter is not a fussy eater by any means, she is starting to talk more about becoming vegetarian (like her parents). Is this a good thing, or the start of an unhealthy attitude towards food?
